Green rooms in the hearth of the city

Design has no limits! This is demonstrated by the grandiose project Looking over the Madonnina, a rooftop a rooftop located in the heart of Milan overlooking the Duomo, capable of combining design, functionality and nature.

Protagonists of the project are the green rooms: four functional terrace areas designed so that the space feels larger elegant and cozy.
Each “room” has its own identity and is an indispensable part of the whole:

  1. The sunbathing area consists of two sun loungers, a a kitchen with bbq and some custom-made aluminum èLUNAPIENA planters .
  2. The green library is the real jewel of the terrace: a charming wall made of suspended Flower Pot planters lit by LED spotlights.
  3. The living area is protected by a wrought-iron pergola with blackout and shading PVC sheeting - commissioned especially for this project - ballasted with four Flower Box planters by èLUNAPIENA to keep it stable. The whole is decorated with delicate climbing roses.
  4. The relaxation area is characterized by the bright hues of Japanese maples and heuchere trees and the presence of water blade that accommodates special aquatic plants.

At the base we find decking by Novowood, a material capable of combining strength and aesthetic briskness.

The result perfectly conveys the vision and care of the design study that preceded the actual construction of this wonderful rooftop. All thanks in part to the collaboration with Studio Lai Valenti, whose out-of-the-box vision and design mastery resulted in a rooftop that is nothing short of mind-blowing!
