A Milanese terrace transformed into a suspended botanical garden, born from the collaboration between Studio Paghera and èLUNAPIENA. Agapanto Terrace takes its name from the purple agapanto flower that stands out among the perimeter planters, delicate and powerful at the same time, the signing of this project. The rooftop features two bioclimatic pergolas Pratic, aluminum trellis around the entire perimeter, tailor-made flowerpots èLUNAPIENA and Talenti furniture in a coherent system where green is the absolute protagonist.
On Agapanto Terrace, in fact, each botanical choice was made with precision and sensitivity to create a botanical garden suspended on the rooftops of the metropolis of Milan.
The focal point of the project is the two bioclimatic pergolas with motorized, adjustable slats Pratic in anthracite aluminum, which cover the lounge area and the dining area, providing shade and adjustable ventilation in all weather conditions. The louvers adjust automatically, making the terrace enjoyable from morning to evening, from spring to fall. Guests on the terrace are welcomed by designer furniture by Talenti: armchairs and chairs made of natural woven rope on a teak frame, paired with light-colored cushions, offer the ultimate in comfort amidst nature in the heart of the city. Their design also blends perfectly with the natural color palette of the entire project.
Along the entire perimeter, the custom-made aluminum trellises by eLUNAPIENA with horizontal steel cables support jasmine, white clematis, and evergreen climbing plants. These create light, fragrant, flowering green walls: a natural screen that filters the view of the city without blocking the Milanese skyline.
The true gem of Agapanto Terrace is the hot tub, set into a WPC decking platform and surrounded by lush greenery. Next to it is an outdoor shower custom-built by èLUNAPIENA, which elegantly completes the wellness corner.
Agapanto Terrace proves that a terrace in the city center can become something more: a living garden, fragrant, capable of changing with the seasons, and offering an authentic experience in contact with nature every day.
