Bespoke pots and planters

A harmonious interplay of geometry and vegetation

A long-neglected terrace and a new, eager young owner determined to do justice to the stunning view. Supporting the project was a skilled landscape architect, Paola Maldari from MV Architetti Studio. Redeveloping a shared condominium terrace requires vision, especially when the geometry has too many sharp angles, the forms lack harmony, and the spaces feel cramped. Yet, with the right design, harmony and balance can be achieved!

Thus, Curves and Countercurves were born: the large custom-made planters installed on this terrace. These 1-meter diameter pots are mounted on custom wheels to facilitate the cleaning of the drains hidden underneath.

Once the aesthetic aspect was addressed, the challenge turned to the technical side: creating a stable anchor point for the legs of the shading structure. This was resolved thanks to FUSARO MARIO SRL, under the guidance of èLUNAPIENA, which crafted a square planter with a wooden cover, featuring a practical inspection compartment that also doubles as a seating area.
